Acceleratore Ape MP601

Ciao a tutti,
ieri ho notato che la manopola dell'acceleratore è molto dura e quindi si fa un po' di fatica ad accelerare. Ho fatto qualche prova dando dei leggeri colpi e ho notato che l'Ape rimane accelerata per qualche secondo... e come se il cavo rispondesse in ritardo. Qualcuno può darmi una dritta per capire se devo cambiare il cavo o se è soltanto bloccato?

Ciao, credo sia soltanto un problema di seccaggio delle parti. Leva il tappo sul manubrio e cerca di buttare un po' d'olio dentro il cavo dell'acceleratore. Ce ne fai scolare un po' e poi fai ruotare ripetutamente su e giù la manopola dell'acceleratore. Ributti olio nel cavo e riruoti la manopola varie volte. Ributti olio e riruoti ecc ecc. Finchè non scorre bene.

Se con questo non cambia nulla allora c'è qualcos'altro. Potrebbe essere un problema di lubrificazione fra il manubrio e il tubo metallico collegato alla manopola del gas. Anche qui c'è solo bisogno d'olio e di stintignarlo un po'.

Altre volte (ma succede di solito a mezzi fermi da tempo), anche la saracinesca del carburatore scorre con difficoltà all'interno del carburatore. Quello lo verifichi facilmente: vai al carburatore e tiri il cavo dell'acceleratore, devi sentire l'azione della molla che fa ritornare la saracinesca in posizione. Se non ci ritorna vuol dire che c'è del lercio: smontare e pulire con benzina

Get yourself a can of WD40 and spray it generously on the moving parts, then clean everything with a dry cloth. Do it again and again until everything moves freely. Make sure the cable runs smoothly in it's sheath and is not binding. Use a syringe and insert the needle inside the case alongside the cable and squeeze machine oil inside to lubricate the cable inside the sheath and use lots of oil. If necessary, undo the cable and pull on it with your fingers to make sure it's not binding and that it slides back and forth easily. A proposito di cavi, la 4a marcia non entra molto bene o entra in ritardo, devo tirare un po' il cavo?

I would pull the cable from it's sheath - chances are as you pull the cable through you'll see signs of rust & dirt which means the cable sheath probably needs replacing. If the cable is fairly clean and moves back and forth smoothly the sheath is in good repair. Very lightly grease or oil the cable and if it's in good shape use it again. I find that when I'm forced to pull a cable for inspection and/or cleaning it's best to put a new cable in it's place and roll the old one up, put it in a Ziploc bag after oiling it and put it in the tool kit - never know when you'll need a spare! - Ken
