Re: Api di Ken
Send down the land to go with it and you've got a deal. I have to build both down and up if I want space without changing my plot lines.

Re: Api di Ken
Here you go. Put it in around what you have. Second floor would have curved double doors that open outwards and inside a boom that extends outwards to raise and lower your collection. Workshop is on the second floor. Other option of course is whittle down the collection to a more manageable size. Time will do that for you anyway. This way you get to live in what you already have but mind height restrictions for the tower. - Ken

Re: Api di Ken
I have the garage footprint I will build down for a basement and up for a second floor. That way I am not changing the use of the property or the footprint. The height may be a problem with the second story. We'll see. I do love that silo building, pretty neat!

Did you find the rubber boots to fit on the transaxle / drive swing arm? For lack of a better name and lack of time to look up the correct term, I should be drafting now.

Re: Api di Ken
POLICE APE AD1T - this ground strap was in the box with the motor when I purchased the Ape, covered in dirt and grease. I believe it's to ground the motor to the frame but can't find it on any parts pages nor any photos of similar engines that I have. Someone can assist? - Ken
Qualcuno può aiutare? we buy/restore/sell P501 and P601s and parts/manuals/handbooks

Re: Api di Ken
I couldn't find it. Maybe keep it in your pocket with the other spare nuts and bolts you have left over, so it has some company.

Re: Api di Ken
POLICE APE AD1T - Proper ground of the motor to the frame is essential. A poor ground on the motor will weaken the spark at the plug, noticeably weaker. I've installed the strap using two bolts on the clutch cover and the small end is grounded to the Y frame using the two bolts that hold down the lever for the starter. I will also ground the battery to the bolts in the Y frame where I've mounted the coil with bracket. If an electric starter is ever used again on this Ape one of the ground strap loops can be used to ground it as well - Ken
