Buonasera, e buon anno a tutti, finalmente finite le feste, posso rioccuparmi della piccola Ape chiusa giù in garage… nuda !!!

Ho scritto già un post di presentazione, comunque riscrivo, sono Claudio, da Massa, Toscana, possessore di una P501 dell’83.

Quest’anno mi sono impegnato di ridare un volto più pulito alla mia aiutante abitudinale, sarà un duro lavoro ma se lo merita !!!

Non vi nascondo che sono diversi anni che sfrutto i vostri consigli, e, appurata la vostra mostruosa esperienza e amore nel curare le API, ho deciso di aprire un post per sfruttare al meglio ogni vostro consiglio… ne avrò moooolto bisogno!!!

Vi metto un po’ di foto per aggiornarvi e presentarvi la Pina !!!

A questo punto, vorrei le prime vostre opinioni, consigli e rimproveri...

Intanto vi informo che ho trovato via Internet il pianale allegato, e vorrei acquistare anche questa saldatrice (SALDATRICE EASYCRAFT 100), che ne dite??
Ce la farò a saldare il pianale ? considerate che non sono un saldatore, ma, mi piace però imparare a fare più cose possibili... l'impegno ce lo metto !!!

The wooden pallets you're using to hold the Ape up in the air scare me! If you are unable to hang the Ape with a chain from a ceiling beam (see photo) then I suggest you block the rear wheels and set the front wheel on one pile of wooden pallets. Surround the front wheel with wooden blocks screwed to the top pallet so the front wheel can't move. This will give you complete access. Be careful! - You can also use a floor jack for elevating the cabin. Ken

I pallet di legno che utilizza per tenere il Ape in aria mi spaventa! Se non siete in grado di appendere il Ape con una catena da una trave del soffitto (vedi foto), allora ti suggerisco di bloccare le ruote posteriori e impostare la ruota anteriore su una pila di pallet di legno. Circondano la ruota anteriore con blocchi di legno avvitati al pallet in alto in modo che la ruota anteriore non si può muovere. Questo vi darà l'accesso completo. Attenzione! - È inoltre possibile utilizzare un martinetto pavimento con un legno di legno per elevare la cabina - Ken

Vorrei sostituire i pallet con dei supporti tipo quelli usati per sollevare le automobili...
Per il supporto interno cabina è spettacolare, devo costruirlo...
che mi consigliate? stacco anche il motore ?? gli do una pulita con una Idropulitrice interno cabina e motore ??
Secondo voi è da sabbiare qualcosa ? diverse parti la vernice è ok, conviene lasciarla e dargli il primer sopra ?

'supporto cabina' will work and keep everything where it's supposed to be. DO NOT try and undo the speedometer cable at the motor, you'll ruin the fine threads Instead, undo the speedometer cable at the speedometer and pull it through the cabin and tie it to the motor. Any cables you wish to change do so before you weld in a new bottom plate on the center tunnel. Remember you must have a strong cord or wire that you can tie to the speedometer cable to pull it through the cabin tunnel when you're finished. Your whole motor area needs a good washing. Ken

'supporto cabina' funziona e tenere tutto dove dovrebbe essere. NON tentare di annullare il cavo del tachimetro al motore, ti rovinerai i fili sottili [/ b], invece, annullare il cavo del tachimetro il tachimetro e farlo passare attraverso la cabina e legarlo al motore. Qualsiasi cavo che si desidera modificare farlo prima di saldare in un piatto nuovo fondo sul tunnel centrale. Ricorda è necessario disporre di un cavo o filo forte che si può legare al cavo del tachimetro per tirarlo attraverso il tunnel cabina quando hai finito. L'area intero motore ha bisogno di un buon lavaggio. Ken

La signorina "Pina" ha appena 218.000 km !!! chissà quanti ne deve ancora fare !!!

Conviene far sabbiare qualcosa ?

218,000km WOW! - pull the motor, it's going to need an overhaul or replacement, it will be quite worn. I need photos, I can't see what you've done. When the motor is pulled you can go over the frame and suspension and repair/replace what's needed and paint everything from the cabin back. When everything is clean you'll see what needs sandblasting and rust treatment. Follow the photos I've posted in the 500MP Restoration file here - http://www.kjjohnson.ca/piaggio/APE%205 ... 218.000 km WOW! -tirare il motore, sta andando avere bisogno di una revisione o sostituzione, sarà abbastanza usurato. Ho bisogno di foto, non riesco a vedere quello che hai fatto. Quando il motore è tirato si può andare oltre il telaio e sospensioni e riparare/sostituire ciò che è necessario e disegnare tutto dalla cabina posteriore. Buongiorno, piccoli aggiornamenti...
Ho smontato il motore, e messo su supporto come consigliato... utilissimo!!!
Veniamo al problema !!!
Come si smonta il semiasse per scollegare il motore dal telaio ? (Foto 1 e 2) , come si può vedere, uno l'ho lasciato collegato al motore... ho fatto troppa fatica per levare quello mancante...non mi convince, non ho eseguito le giuste manovre... consigli per il rimontaggio o smontaggio???
Stasera pulitura del motore e cabina...

I disassembled the engine, and put on medium as recommended ... very useful!
We are the problem!
How do you remove the drive shaft to disconnect the engine from the frame? (Photos 1 and 2), as you can see, the one I left connected to the motor ... I made too much effort to remove the missing ... I am not convinced, I have not run the right moves ... recommendations for replacement or removal??
Tonight cleaning the engine and cab ...

Remove the 4 bolts that hold the rubber boot in place where the driveshaft enters the engine. Use a small chisel to spread the hub so it can be slid up the driveshaft so it's out of the way, then the driveshaft can be pulled out of the differential. You will need to make some modifications to the motor stand, it will not be strong enough for running the motor when you're finished overhauling it and ready to test it running. - Ken

Rimuovere le 4 viti che fissano la protezione in gomma nel punto in cui l'albero entra nel motore. Utilizzare un piccolo scalpello per diffondere il mozzo in modo che possa essere fatto scorrere il semiasse quindi è fuori strada, allora l'albero può essere tirato fuori dal differenziale. È necessario apportare alcune modifiche al supporto motore, non sarà abbastanza forte per l'esecuzione del motore quando hai finito la revisione e pronto per il test in esecuzione. - Ken

The front motor mount should be bolted in place for running-in. The wooden framework must be well braced when the motor is running. - Ken

La parte anteriore supporto motore deve essere fissato in posizione per il rodaggio. La struttura in legno deve essere ben rinforzato quando il motore è in funzione. - Ken

Ciao a tutti… scusate se non ho aggiornato la situazione, ma sono un po’ incasinato in questo periodo…
Aggiornamenti sulla situazione…
pulizia del motore (fino alle 2 di notte!!! ) e visto che sono arrivati i pezzi (Saldatrice e Pianale), possiamo cominciareee !!!
Ho provato a saldare ma…ma… non sto a elencare le madonne che ho tirato e i risultati pessimi che ho ottenuto!!!
Fortunatamente ho un GRANDE AMICO (Foto 13), dovrò fargli un post dedicato … ahahahah!!! Lui ha una grande MANO nel saldare quindi si può proseguire con il taglio e cucito !!!
Nel pulire qua e la abbiamo scoperto una brutta cicatrice … foto 17/18/19…
Come posso riparare ??
Come posso capire se si è storto il telaio ??
Quando era ancora in funzione tirava tantissimo verso sinistra !!!
