If you have a power washer the only thing you need to do is cover the distributor with some plastic and a rubber band. Everything else will be fine with the washing. Before you start, spray the engine with an 'engine cleaner' which you'll see in the photo. If there's a lot of grease and oil residue take a paint brush and Varsol (Mineral Spirits) and clean everything as best you can before washing. Do not hold the spray tip too close to the engine, just use it to wash the dirt away. Post some photos of the hinges on the door frames.
Under the mat the floor that I see is not the original. Is it covered with metal or fibreglass. If you lay on the floor take some photos of the underside of the floor, I'll bet it's not in very good shape. - Ken

Se avete una rondella di potere l'unica cosa che devi fare è coprire il distributore con qualche plastica e un elastico. Tutto il resto andrà bene con il lavaggio. Prima di iniziare, spruzzare il motore con un motore più pulito che vedete nella foto. Se c'è un sacco di residui di grasso e olio, prendere un pennello e Varsol (spiriti minerale) e pulire tutto il meglio che potete prima del lavaggio. Non tenere l'ugello troppo vicino al motore, basta usare per lavare via lo sporco. Posto alcune foto delle cerniere su telai di porte.
Sotto la stuoia del pavimento che vedo non è l'originale. Essa è ricoperta di metallo o fibra di vetro. Se giaceva sul pavimento scattare qualche foto della parte inferiore del pavimento, scommetto che non è in ottima forma. -Ken

ho fatto come hai detto: lavato tutto l'Ape non ho smontato il motore ma l'ho coperto con plastica e pulito con spray minerali. successivamente ho smontato le porte. e fatto una foto sotto la cabina:

I would strip the glass and the door handles and all the rubber gaskets and bits and pieces from the doors including the latches, and with a punch remove the split pins from the hinges on the one door and keep the hinge halves with everything else from the doors for now. Probably is going to be cheaper to find you a decent set of used doors than to try and repair them. I think by the looks of your floor you need a replacement kit. - Ken

Yes, I sell the replacement floor pan kit. If you don't need one that's fine, you'll have other expenses. I recommend however that you jack up the front end of the Ape and crawl underneath the floor and have a good look because it looks to me like the area under the center tunnel is rusted through. Take some photos so I can see. As for the door hinges, you will need one right side door. Your hinges are completely missing where they're welded into the door edge and replacement pieces aren't available. The door looks like it's in very rough shape. You should be able to find a used door at a reasonable price. - Ken

Can you take a photo of the bottom of the floor pan in the area of the center tunnel? I'm not satisfied your floor is in such good shape. Here are some photos of what I see. grazie fatemi sapere.
per il pianale non è vetro resina ma sono lastre di ferro saldate. la parte sotto al tunnel legata col ferro dovrebbr essere tolta e saldata direttamente sull'altra. io non sono bravo nel poter lavorare bene il pianale con il kit. appena posso ti faró altre foto meglio cosi mi darai altri consigli.
