Re: Il Got da Milano
Howdy from Canada - good luck in your hunt for a P2 or similar Ape. Beware of rust and look very closely for it when you are searching. Look inside and out and crawl underneath and do not be afraid to walk away. If it's been freshly painted take a magnet in your pocket and you can check for body filler in rust prone areas. - Ken

Re: Il Got da Milano
Thanks Ken for your information, I saw a P2 in recent days but it was too rotten due to rust.

Re: Il Got da Milano
They can be prone to rust. The owner of this P2 is a bricklayer/mason and he and his father always carried and stored brick sand in it. The moisture in the sand never went away because the Ape sat outside. He contacted me wondering if it could be restored. Look for one that hasn't been painted so nothing is hidden. Motors can be repaired but major bodywork is very expensive. Be patient. Ken
