the assembly continues with electronic ignition stator, channel distributor of cooling air, flywheel and cylinder. The cylinder has been slightly raised exhaust port for compensates the absence of aluminum gasket present in the Polini kit. The operation was performed through filing, result is visible in the first photo. The pin clips, provided in the kit, are "G type" easier to assemble than the original Piaggio, in my opinion. Cylinder head was cleaned at the time, was very dingy, the result is not quite perfect, but I find it acceptable.
After completing installation of the termal unit, I proceeded to install the dinamotore, so I was able to test the oil pump of separate lubrication and ignition. I noticed that the engine wobble a lot when running , so I think the support that have begun to build on the advice of Ken (thank you) will be essential to try to start it.
On the end I weighed the engine: 50 kg with no axle shafts and muffler. Luckily I have a little hydraulic crane ..... for the time being dear my back.

I have a couple of 100 Ampere batteries, I think to put them between the legs of the support that I have photographed

Re: Apecar di drflicorny
take it outside and press the feet of the stand into the dirt, that will help. The motion of the motor is front to back, not side to side so that will also help. Ken

Very good. A hint: mount the speedometer cable to the engine before you install the motor in the frame. Much easier. Ken

thanks for the advice, but on the P2 does not seem possible. However, it is in a easy position, I have a lift.
