my name is James, wife's name is Callie we live in Canada (not far from KenJ) I have spoke with him in emails but I have never met him or the others in his area with Ape's. I have been riding scootrs for some time Vespa/Lambretta's
now I have 05/PX150 , 80p200( pinasco 227 longstroke) , 62VNB ,Lambretta (servetta) Jet200
and more to come!

I'm not a Ape owner right now , however the wife and I are looking and might have found a few to restore!I have found in the USA only $800usd (83 p501) and he also has a 60's p501 picturs soon and he wants $1000usd for that . please be honest is this worth $800usd

and will help you out with parts and knowledge.
when you get seriously infected and decide to get a real (chaindrive) ape
he will still be there to supply you with a cargo bed kit....

I have been contacting Ken for a few months now! I really feel as I'm being a bit of a pain to Ken!
I have found his help real useful and needed!
oh I have been infected for some time now! the 60's p501 this guy has is a chaindrive I think! that one will be mine and the wife will get the 83.lol

a chain drive ape is never called 501
the 501 is shaft drive and motor in the back.
the chain drive api have the engine under the seat .
the section telai here is helpful for that.

ok I have alot to learn thats for sure! I just recived from a buddy its a Vespa/Piaggio book that has alot about the Ape in it! read read read!!! I'm still waiting pics for the 60's ape! I have no idea what it is! I know if its a fargone(I think there called) with the tin enclosed box?? I will be in heven!

I don't want to be a bother to Ken, wearing out my welcome before I was even invited in the door!
he's been a great resource for info and help buying ! I will haev to repay him in some way "soon"
