Hello, I just purchased a Ape Poker (422 cc benzin, 1991) which I'll be restoring.
Need some help to find a workshop manual and user manual in English if anyone has one, spare parts catalogue will be also welcome. Or Italian if nothing else.
Also I am looking for some spare parts for this bike/car - even I do not know how to call it
when you look at the engine there should be some type of marking/logo
probably the drive unit is daihatsu or lombardini.

Biggest issue I have right now is gear box (5 gear front, 1 reverse). It is very difficult to switch between gears, sometimes gear are locking and it difficult to turn off gear.
here we go:
i was told the engine is the old cuore engine from daihatsu
this engine is well known to me as i had the 55wide van version (547 cc)
this engine is also used in the thai tuk-tuk.
the gearbox : when you have rear wheel drive its a box like the minivan.
when frontwheel drive it ought to be the cuore one.
your trouble with the gears is either bad adgiustment between the lever on the box and the one inside or (more probable) a worn clutch assembly.
rebuilding is very easy but getting a head gasket might be difficult.......the rest is pretty standard.
my van did 220.000 km and went to the scrap because i could not get the head gasket in italy (i did not know about the poker then)
I have rear wheel drive. Is it possible to have any manaul and/or drawings for this construction?
Maybe there is any other name for Ape Poker which I can use as keywords?

Is it mean that I bought very rare construction? I thought that in Italy Piaggio Ape Poker is everywhere
the poker never became the "new ape"
the reasons are easy: the generation that had no car license was almost gone.
now there is the piaggio porter...........also daihatsu...
