Galleggiante benzina ape 501

Salve a tutti, posseggo un ape 501 e vorrei dotarlo di spia della benzina, perchè ne è sprovvisto. Vorrei sapere se qualcuno nel forum ha montato un galleggiante nel serbatoio ed eventualmente quale modello. Sulla baia ne ho visti anche piccoli e compatti di provenienza motociclistica, che potrebbero andare bene al mio scopo. Inoltre avrei anche due galleggianti dell' apecar, ma hanno bisogno di un bel foro nel serbatoio. Grazie a chi mi darà dei suggerimenti.

If your fuel tank is new then I suggest you obtain a float control from another Ape tank at a salvage yard if you can find one in good condition. You will have to drill a suitably sized hole in the top of your tank to be able to mount it. Follow the wiring diagram for installation. In your case a simple light mounted on the dash will serve as a warning light when fuel level is low.
The Ape Classic fuel tank is a diesel tank and I had to have my machinist make a suitable threaded sleeve to accept a fuel cock from a P601. This may not be an option for you.
