Buongiorno,
Grazie

Re: APE 501 P albero motore
Your problem will probably be electrical. When you turn the fan with your hand the friction you feel is when the piston is reaching 'Top Dead Center' or the compression stroke. This is normal.
You will need a test light to do this electrical test. First turn the key to the 'on' position. Take the test light and see if there is electrical current going through the pink wire to the coil and if you do the test light will light up showing you have current.
Then move the test light ( it must be grounded to the motor for it to work) to the other terminal on the coil and with your hand turn the fan over slowly. When the test light shines that means you have current going through the points in the distributor.
I suggest you install a new NGK B7HS spark plug (it will have the proper gap) and make sure you have fuel mix going to the carburetor. It should start unless there are problems with the above testing procedure.
Post a photo of the spark plug so I can see if it's fouled. If you have problems getting the test light to activate at the distributor you will have to adjust or replace the points. - Ken
Prima girare la chiave in posizione 'on'.

Re: APE 501 P albero motore
If the motor doesn't properly turn over so you can take a compression test then remove the muffler and cylinder head. Through the exhaust port you may be able to tell how badly worn the piston is and the cylinder itself. If they're badly worn remove the cylinder and examine to see if there's possibly a broken ring. No doubt you will have to install a new oversize piston kit and have the cylinder honed to fit. Take some photos so all can see. Ken
Ken
