Please may I have a photo of the air filter assy installed, particularly showing the mounting points and hardware.
Looks like a trip to Italy and elsewhere to look at machines and see how things are done.

Thanks for the pboto's pitt and Ken. I see the three holes in the floor that would have mounted the air filter. Now to come up with the correct carburetor, fuel tank filler and cap, plus the items mentioned earlier.
After looking through your photo's Ken, I was able to find where the engine number is located. AC1M*5542* is the number.
I go home about once a , year to Australia, so will plan a trip to the Sydney Bus Museum.
I see from a number of your photo album photos, were taken in Melbourne no earlier than 1964 (I can tell by the model of Holden in the back ground). Very interesting set of photos.

Where they fitted to any Model Vespa?
The flange is still on the cylinder, and a carby has been attached to a short piece of rubber tubing of the correct size.

- L'AC1 che ho smontato, montava Dallorto MA19C (che non vendo)
Per essere più sicuro ho consultato la lista dei carburatori Dellorto pubblicata da MONDOAPE, (gennaio 2011 ?) che conferma quanto sopra.
