Anno costruzione Ape ACA2T

Ho gia trovato un Ape 175 motocarro qui agli Stati Uniti e ho trovato Mondo Ape e tutti gli inscritti per autarmi a restaurarla.

La mia domanda prima è:

L'ape che posseido ha il nomero di telaio che comincia con ACA2T ma ha tutte le caratteristiche di un modello D, ma voglio sapere l'anno fatto non solo quando era venduto (1969).

Mario - go to my website in the Parts Information file and pick out the manuals to download that you'll need. First get the serial number and look it up in the 'telai' section of this website and you'll find out exactly when it was produced. Hello Ken,

no luck on the ACA2T prefix on the serial number. It appears to be a D model and since it was sold in 1969 it is considered a 1969 model.

It has all the characteristics od a D with the proper 175 engine (AD1M) and the original Vespa commercial 175 manual, but the serial number prefix
will only reference to Ape sold here in the US.

Very nice. Lots of restoration posts here on D models and you'll find no lack of assistance. All my restorations are of the MP types, currently doing a 500MP for a client from down your way. Best of luck and the parts books/manuals on my site will help. Here's a photo of the serial number on an C model in USA, take a photo and post yours so we can see. - Ken
