Problema de freno ape 703

Hello, I am trying to revise the brake system but I have a problem ...
I removed the air in the system and when I braked wheels, 2 are trapped. Brake the jaws do not return to their place.
Do you think it comes from the master cylinder or something else? Thank you

Ho rimosso l'aria nel sistema e quando ho frenato ruote 2 sono intrappolati. Freno le ganasce non ritornano al loro posto.
Pensi che proviene dal cilindro maestro o qualcos'altro? Grazie

Hi Ken,
After bleeding the brake system, I drove and when I braked, the ape stopped with locked wheels…
It seems the jaws stay in extension so I think the problem comes from the brake cylinder (the ape 703V stayed some years without moving.
What do you think about?

two things. If the Ape sat for years there would be moisture in the brake fluid which would rust the brake cylinders causing them to stick. Even if you've flushed all the brake fluid out of the system you haven't got rid of the rust. If you've had the brakes apart make sure you've replaced the springs in the correct position and set the brake adjusters, there may not be enough free play. Sticking brake cylinders would give you this trouble. There are manuals on my website free to download so help yourself. Just pulled the rear brakes from the P501 that I'm restoring and you can see the problems you will find. You can hone the cylinders and install new rubbers but if they're quite rusted throw them away and install new ones. Different than yours but you can see what the problems are, the linings basically fell off. - I can't see from here by the way so photos would be nice for others to understand. (GRA has experience with his TM703 and he can help if you ask) If your problem is with moisture in the system that has caused rusting you'll have to do all three wheels and the brake pump as well and flush the system regularly to avoid this problem in the future. - Ken

My system is less rusted than yours but I'm going to change the 3 cylinders and the pump.

Ti ha dato ottimi consigli Ken , puoi anche controllare i tubi flessibili ,a volte per un utilizzo di olio freni
con caratteristiche non compatibili (DOT) con la gomma dei tubi freno può causare il rigonfiamento interno
dei tubi e quindi l'ostruzione degli stessi .
l'olio spinto dalla pompa entra nei cilindretti ma non fuoriesce in rilascio di frenata non essendo sufficiente
la forza della molla di rientro per vincere l'ostruzione.

Per liquido freni, ho messo DOT4, è meglio il DOT3 o bene?

sui tubi flessibili nuovi che ho montato la marcatura indica DOT 3,
io ho utilizzato olio DOT 4 che sono compatibili ,comunque e bene non mischiare i due olii per mantenere il livello
di ebollizione più alto del DOT 4
