Actuating pad for Ape 175 motor is identical to the one in Series ll P501 (post May 1982) part number 222488. Will save you looking for an original part. P401 Vespacar DeLuxe Pakistan that was assembled there and they used their own markings. Castings were made in Italy - Ken

Lots of Parts from a Series 1 MP motor fit an Ape 175 motor. Restoring these P401's with a P501 motor handy makes for good comparisons. Piaggio continued using lots of parts when updating models of Ape. "If it works keep using it". New car manufacturers could learn a thing or two from Piaggio - Ken

Had the carrozzeria modify a P501 cassone to fit one of my P401 Vespacar Deluxe from Pakistan, Kept the width the same but now 4' long. Off to have it sandblasted and primed tomorrow then back for painting after some minor repairs to holes. Ken
