Vorrei mettere le mani sull'Ape di mio padre, perche' ha bisogno di un po' di manutenzione.
Ho il contachilometri che non funziona, penso sia il cavo.
Per sostituirlo, sapete come procedere?
Bisogna sganciarlo dalla routa anteriore poi smontare il quadro e poi sganciarlo dal meccanismo dal contachilometri, e poi si sfila dalla routa?
Esiste un manuale?
Sapete anche come si regola il minimo?

All the information you'll need for a P501 is on my website. To test the speedometer cable undo it at the speedometer, pull the cable down so you can see the cable inside the cable sheath. Drive the Ape and see if the cable turns. If it turns the problem is with the speedometer. If the cable doesn't turn then you need to replace the cable and sheath because the cable is probably broken. You can use a square bit in a cordless drill (the bit must be the same size as the cable end that goes into the speedometer - A Robertson green bit) but first spray a little bit of lubricant (WD40) inside the opening at the back of the speedometer- Ken
