Smontaggio Pompa freno APE P601

Ciao Ragazzi, dovrei smontare la pompa freno della mia Ape perchè, per riprendere i fondi, devo toglierla in modo da poter saldare più comodamente.

C'è qualche accorgimento da osservare nello smontarla?

Io, sulla mia (50) prima o smontato i cilindretti che stanno prima dei tamburi dove passa l'olio, poi fai 5-6 pedalate in modo che tutto l'olio esca dall'impianto, poi procedi nello smontare la pompa dei freni. Io o fatto così...però sulla 50 non so se è uguale sulla tua, forse ci sono altri modi; però in qualsiasi modo fai uscire tutto l'olio e aria che c'è dentro l'impianto così avrai fatto anche lo spurgo.

Io devo solo spostarla un attimo da dov'è messa adesso per poter saldare.. Di certo non la svuoto ne smonto i tubi se è possibile!
Devo solo scollegarla dalla cabina e rimettercela dopo 2 minuti!

per saldare le pedane della mia 601 ho solo levato i due dadi che la tengono ferma al telaio. i tubi di raccordo sono in metallo basta spostarli con calma e cura verso l'alto, senza piegarli

Grazie Zamik, toglierò quelle due viti e la sposterò un po'.. Io ho chiesto per evitare di fare del casino durante lo smontaggio ma mi rendo conto che la domanda era abbastanza stupida..

Dirt is what to watch out for. If it gets in the system you'll have major troubles. First undo the pipe that comes from the reservoir to the pump itself. Pinch the tube with a pair of pliers so you don't spill fluid on the floor (at least as little as possible). Second, undo the brake line that comes from the rear, but only loosen it at first. Go to the underside of the box where it meets the union and loosen it there as well and undo it but make sure you plug the hole in the union immediately. Then go under the front fender, and loosen the two bolts that hold the pump and remove the nuts and washers. You may now undo completely the brake line to the rear (keep a cloth under it to soak up the fluid). Now undo the front brake pipe where it passes through the cabin to the flexible front brake line and plug that hole as well. Now you can pull the pump inwards and it will still have the front brake pipe attached and you can remove it on your workbench if you need to replace it. - all these lines use a 10mm wrench, the front nuts on the pump require a 13mm wrench. Put the pump and lines in a plastic pail along with the fluid reservoir. Pull the cables and electrical wiring free from their clamps and lift them up and tie them to the steering column so you can work on the floor. If your pump is in good condition, don't undo the front brake pipe from it because it's in an awkward place, just make sure it's tight. Clean up all the spilled brake fluid. When you're ready to re-install consider using a rubber "bib" under the pump which comes down over top of the floor mat so if you have a leak the fluid won't wind up on your newly welded floor. - Ken

You must also remember when welding the floor that there are cables in the center tunnel going to the rear and excessive heat will melt the casings so be careful. Remember that a lot of the floor pan rusting is caused by the lack of a proper mudflap behind the front wheel. This will always cause problems so touchup painting is a never ending task. The leaking of brake fluid under the floor mat also contributes to the rusting as well as the area under the battery. Ignore these areas at your risk. Ken

Fortunately I have to weld only tha front side of the floor: my P601 is very good in the central zone, near the tunnel.
