Ape D 175 - battery and license mount - batteria e targa.

I am looking for pictures of original locations for the battery holder in an Ape D 175 and the licence plate holder. I may have to fabricate both and need a good reference. Thank you.

Grazie. Adesso la batteria è al fondo, ma non era lo che Piaggio ha disegnato. La portatarga, non c'è, e voglio trovare il ricambio giusto.

I haven't seen one yet for either the battery or the plate holder. I have more of an idea for the battery tray, and have
two N.O.S. 6 volt batteries that would fit either size tray that I have seen.

The tail lights were changed some time ago to some sort of tractor lights or truck lights, and the original plate holder was removed.
I want to be better to this Ape than the past owners were and give her back the proper parts and maintenance she deserves.

It is a lot harder to do this in the States, as so fer were legally imported here. (this one was legal - first sold in Massachussets.)

If I make a commitment to buy parts from afar, I want them to work with my Ape and be period perfect parts.

I will search again for thise photos, I have seen many for the restoration process and they are simply beautiful!
