so i'll tell you the story of my first Ape that i got to my 13th. Birthday.
My dad first saw it when it was new in 1970.
The previous Owner drove it until 1994 when it was to rusty for public roads.
Since then,the Ape was located in an old barn next to Oldenburg in Germany.
In 2007 i first tooked notice of the ape because of the old storys my father told me about the gravil work,where the Ape worked in his childhood.
So we contacted the familiy of the first owner.They told us that he died in 2002,but the Ape was still stored in a barn.
So my dad and me did a little trip to this barn.
....and yes,the Ape was there... in very bad condition.
But we bought it and started a restauration that is now completed after 7 Years.
