Well, well, well, it has been a workhorse. This is not going to be easy but when the day comes and you have finished the restoration you will be able to celebrate for sure. Do you have room to store the cassone once removed? It will be one of the last major items to go back on the vehicle and will allow you access to the motor and frame and rear suspension. It's the first thing I would remove and set aside.
I suggest you go through the restoration photo files on my website, they will give you an idea of the process. You must take notes when you remove parts of what will need replacing. Try and get it running so you can do some tests on the motor but I'm sure it's going to need an overhaul.
Make a list of the parts you'll need to replace. Lift out the floor mats and take some photos of the cabin floor and photos of the motor when you've removed the cover in the cassone. - Ken
