No idea when they might ever be available here in Canada. Piaggio also introduced the Ape Xtra HT with 300cc petrol engine. Ape keeps changing using new technologies and this is a good thing. I have enough to keep me busy here - Ken

Ape Elettrico had twelve six volt batteries in three packs. Weighed a lot. Commune used them to collect garbage quietly at night and then take the load to a waiting large diesel garbage truck. Very neat at the time but now that's "Old School".
