Welcome to the greatest place to find info on your Ape. I am on the east coast in New York,
and have laid my hands on only 2 C models, and own a D model. A great bit of fun in finding
out what you now have and what you'll need in the future.

Have you any idea whether the speedometer works? There is a guy in Torrance, CA who
restores Vespa and Lambretta speedos, and I sent him my Rally one and got great results.

If you're lucky enough you may find what you need in Canada, but I have seen a lot of C model
parts in Italy and Germany, a few in France.

What a great find on the Speedo King! I don't know as of yet whether the speedo works as I haven't had it running or driving yet. I will try to get more pictures as the restoration continues.

Your speedo looks similar to the one I have in my Allstate. Steve specializes in
speedometers, has bought what he can in stock parts of speedos and will even
buy old ones to part out.

Yours should come out well, and he is a reasonable person.

itt looks as if someone mounted a strange cilinder on the ape engine ..........weird ........
this will be an interesting search once the engine is out .
