Buonasera. Penso che il filo del contachilometri del mio ape tm p602 produca un leggero rumore mentre gira. Mi chiedevo se è possibile smontare il filo per ingrassarlo per risolvere il problema o devo sostituire l'intero cavo?

You might try lubricating the cable, probably rubbing a bit on the casing. Take the end off at the speedo and put some light oil in the casing at the cable end. Also make sure there are no kinks in the cable sheathing which might cause the problem. Ken

Changing the cable is not the easiest thing, it's the housing where it terminates on the block that is the big problem. All aluminum and very fine thread, easily damaged. A new cable assembly complete is not cheap. Good luck, give it a try. There is a Service Station Manual for the 703 on my website, it may be of some assistance. - Ken
